Sweet Mama
"Sweet Mama" Marie is my mother, my first and greatest teacher. As the Alzheimer’s progressed, she became a vessel of love. Her favorite phrases were: I love you, You are beautiful, All that matters is to be kind. What an honor to care for her, hold her hand and sing “Amazing Grace” during her final breaths at home on June 7, 2019.
